Aleksandra has been a passionate impact investor for over 15 years, actively participating as an Angel Investor, as well as an individual and institutional Limited Partner (LP). Leveraging this experience, she unlocks private sector investment in pioneering projects across emerging markets. A champion for innovative blended finance tools and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), she provides comprehensive sustainable advisory services to government and private sector clients. Aleksandra's approach bridges market gaps and stimulates opportunities in challenging environments. She regularly serves on the Boards of companies and non-profits, remaining actively engaged with the investment community through her membership in various Angel Investor networks.

Throughout her career with the World Bank and IFC, Aleksandra has negotiated and managed programs and funds tackling critical issues like climate change, financial inclusion, access to infrastructure, services and markets. A recent highlight involves 3X scaling of the IFC Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative funded by 14 government donors and increasing access to capital for over 30,000 women entrepreneurs in less than 3 years through investments and partnerships with VC and PE funds, incubators, accelerators, as well as fintech and agri companies around the world. By leveraging blended finance instruments, she has mobilized over $2.5 billion in additional financing for impactful projects across infrastructure, banking, agriculture, and private equity in emerging markets.

Aleksandra’s dedication to international development finance extended to her role as an Advisor to the G20 Finance Track. Beyond investment, she is a published author on blended finance, digital development, and infrastructure. As a Fulbright Scholar with a dual Master's Degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University and Economics, Aleksandra leverages her academic achievements and extensive experience to drive positive change through innovative finance.
