David Spence (B’89)

Founder, Antique Brick Warehouse And David Spence Cancer Foundation

I'm originally from Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Georgetown in 1988 with a BSBA. I founded a true brick and mortar company called Antique Brick Warehouse and grew it to a national presence. I've since retired but now devote myself to philanthropic work including the David Spence Cancer Foundation, World Central Kitchen, and many others. I live in Georgetown which I love. I've been on many boards in the past and currently work with two local Washington D.C. organizations. My hobbies include sports and travel. I'm hoping to hit 100 countries within the next 10 years.

In my business life I learned what it takes to start from the bottom and navigate things they simply can't teach in business school.
