Joel Montaniel (C'06)

CEO& Co-Founder, SevenRooms

As CEO & Co-Founder of SevenRooms, Joel leads business operations and strategy for the company. Under his leadership SevenRooms has acquired customers in over 250 cities globally and seated more than 500 million guests. Prior to founding SevenRooms in 2011, Joel served as Chief of Staff at LivePerson, where he assisted with strategic, operational, and cultural initiatives. He began his career at Credit Suisse within their Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group. He graduated with honors from Georgetown University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Biology.

In 2019, Joel was named Best of Hospitality at the annual GEA Entrepreneur Excellence Awards.
