About Neil:
Neil Grosscup (C'08) was the CEO and Master Blender of Tanteo Tequila, a leader in 100% agave infused tequilas, which was acquired by Ole Smoky Distilling in July of 2023.
Grosscup grew up in Minneapolis where he was active in both his church and on the track team. He attended Georgetown University, where he obtained a B.A. in Theology while competing on the university’s nationally ranked track and field team.
In 2010, Grosscup began his journey at Tanteo as an unpaid intern, before being promoted to Director of Operations, COO, and eventually CEO in March of 2014. Grosscup’s disciplined approach to brand building allowed the company to grow year after year, culminating in the sale to Ole Smoky.
Grosscup lives in Brooklyn with his wife Lilly and two children, Viola and Albert.
